Cornerstone Baptist Church takes our beliefs from God's inerrant and infallible Word. We do our best to follow the truth of God's Word and His commands to us as they are written. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Below are a few foundational truths, with Scripture references.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as our substitute upon the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and is coming again.

We believe that the Bible is the authoritative, inerrant, infallible word of God to men.

(Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that all persons are born with a sinful nature and that God’s remedy for man’s ruin is entirely of grace through one’s transfer of trust to Jesus Christ.

We believe that when a person has transferred his trust to Jesus Christ that he is born into God’s family and is forever secure in Jesus Christ. He is called to live a holy life.

We believe that the church is the body of Christ with the mission to preach the Gospel to all the world. We believe that the ordinances of the church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.

(Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:18-32)

We believe in the personal, visible return of our Lord Jesus, prior to the establishment of His kingdom. Those who are believers shall be forever in the presence of God, and those who have rejected Christ will be forever separated from the presence of God.
