Kyle was raised in Fort Worth, and called Tarrant County home until his arrival in Pampa, with the brief exception of four glorious years in College Station, Texas while studying political science and history at Texas A&M University. Kyle met his wife Mary while pursuing his M.A. of Worship at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the two were married in January of 2011. 

Though she was also born in Fort Worth, Mary grew up in Hartwell, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and has master’s degrees in Christian Education and Marriage & Family Counseling from SWBTS. They enjoy reading, cooking, and playing a variety of strategic and tactical board games, as well as watching SEC football.

Their first child, Abigail, was born May 17th, 2012, and their second, Eleanor, on January 3, 2014.

Kyle served as Associate Pastor and Music Minister from January 2015 through April 2023, then the church called him as Pastor on May 7, 2023.
